Researching

I am really surprising myself. I actually don't mind researching at all. I most definitely like it better than writing. There are so many sources I can find everywhere about Thomas Paine. One of my favorite sources thus far is a book called In God We Trust. It shows you the writings of our founding fathers on the subject of religion and government. Thomas Paine (the subject of my research) is very outspoken about religion and politics. He believed that they should be held completely separate. He also believed that there were many contradictions in the Bible. My next favorite source is a book of letters that members of the Church of England wrote to Paine. They were all questioning his theories and ideals. It just demonstrates what a rebel Paine was and how controversial he was in his time.
